The JSA assessment process at HSBC is untimed and consists of 4 modules. It is regionally universal, with the first 3 modules being the same for all positions. Only the fourth module, "Your Task," includes questions tailored to the specific role. There are only two types of questions: Situational Judgement Test and Video Interview.
Video set-up: A test segment, not counted toward the official score.
Introduction: 2 VI questions, with 2 minutes each for preparation and response, one attempt only.
Sustainability Initiatives: 3 situational test questions and 1 VI question, with 30 seconds for preparation and 2 minutes for response, one attempt only.
Your Task: Includes 2 situational test questions and 1 VI question, with 7 minutes for preparation and 3 minutes for response. The questions in this module vary by position.

1. Situational Judgement Test
This part of the questions consists of situational test questions that ask you to rank 5 options based on a scenario. Here is an actual sample for situational judgement test.

2. Video Questions
The video questions are not only behavioral interview questions; they also require you to respond based on provided background materials, testing more professional knowledge. The thinking and response time for each question will vary, so follow the instructions provided for each question.
