The OT and VI for the EY One Assessment are conducted together, and the questions may vary depending on the position. There are roughly three main sections:
Job Preview: The specific materials and questions generally change every year. It includes VI, SJT, and written questions.
Critical Thinking: Drawing inferences, evaluating evidence, identifying assumptions, and assessing arguments. All questions are advanced versions of reading comprehension, with 3-5 questions per page and two pages per set. Although untimed, this does not mean you can take your time, as the completion time is also considered in the evaluation.
Numerical Reasoning: A total of 14 questions requiring calculations based on materials such as charts or graphs. Although untimed, it is tracked! Both accuracy and speed are essential!

1. Situational Judgement Test
Rank the options based on the given work scenario.

2. Video Interview Question
The video interview question is based on work scenarios. You have 2.5 or 3 minutes preparation time and 2 minutes to deliver your response. You need to read a large passage and respond quickly within a short period.

3. Critical Thinking
Critical reasoning and decision-making skills are vital to success in this role. Over the following pages, you will be presented with a series of short questions measuring your ability in four areas of critical reasoning: deducing conclusions, evaluating evidence, identifying assumptions and judging arguments.
There are two pages per area, with 3 to 5 questions on each page. Each question has two options and you will be required to select only one of those options.
The assessment is not timed, but usually takes around 15-20 minutes to complete. Please ensure you read the questions and instructions carefully to ensure you fully understand what you are being asked before attempting to answer each question.

4. Numerical Reasoning Test
You will be presented with 14 questions to answer. This test assesses your current ability to evaluate, analyse, and interpret numerical information encountered in the modern workplace.
In order to answer the questions, you will need to use numerical information presented in the form of various tables and graphs. All graphs are interactive meaning if you hover over any element of the graph, you can see specific details ensuring it is easy to read.
The assessment is time recorded, not time limited. You can spend as long as you like on each question. However, both your accuracy and the amount of time you take to respond will contribute towards your overall score, so please complete the assessment as quickly as you are able.
